Patient history

  • 72 yr old female
  • Admitted with nausea and generally unwell
  • Later that day observed by nurses to develop left sides weakness, hemianopia and neglect – Total Anterior Circulation Stroke
  • Past History – hypertension & recent investigations for hyponatraemia. No cause found
  • Medication – demeclocycline, amlodipine
