Patient history

  • 70 yr old male
  • Sudden onset loss of feeling in left face, arm and leg. No weakness but could not use it because not sure where the limbs were. Also slurred speech. No headache, off colour for previous week
  • Past History – hypertension, TIAs and hyperlipidaemia
  • Medication – amlopidine
